Subject: Supervisors plan to shove Marine Energy Authority down Marin County's throats.

I've jusy learned from our state Representative Jarrred Huffman (D) that Marin County Supervisors plan to vote Feb. 4 to shove Marin Energy Authority down Marin County electrical consumers throats. No public transparency, no public heariings or discussions, no cost/benefit analysises, no facts only private clossed door meetings of 5 supervisors having zero educational or experience or back ground in elctrical energy production and distribution to consumers deciing whats good for Marin County. All I've heard since I learned last week, when I first learned of MEA, is platitudes about how good wind and solar enrgy its going to be for Marin County. If the Suoervisors have their way the Marine Energy Authority may well become Marin Couny's Enrion. Instead of bankrupting investors Marine Energy Authority will bankrupt consumers.
Oh yes..Marin County electrical consumers will have 4 times to opt out of something they never chose to enroll in.
Welcome to the new, transformed Marin County where Marinites no longer enjoy the right of free choice. The Marin Energy Authority without your consent enrolled then in the Marin Energy Authority. Seems the Marine Energy Authority knows better than Marinites what they want to or don't want to enroll in?

Oh yes..Marine Enrergy wants to compete with PG&E and its private "fat cat" Wall Street investors.

Marine Energy Authority has nothing to say about progressiv Wall Street investors in renewable energy such as Nancy Pelosi, T.Boone Pickens, Al Gore, and some Sierra Club members.

Wonder if any of the officers of Marine Energy Authority are also Wall Streeet investors in renewable energy.
Regards,

Charles
