Subject: Proposed Melrose/Evergreen stop light

Supervisor Kinsey asked Al Wunthow, current president of the Homestead Valley Community Association (HVCA), to inform residents at the HVCA Annual Meeting of the request of several Evergreen Ave. residents that a new stop sign be installed at Melrose and Evergreen and obtain their sentiments.
Several weeks ago I requested Al and Les to include Supervisor Kinsey's request in the HVCA's Annual Meeting public notice
The recent HVCA Annual Meeting public notice or sidewalk meeting sandwich boards do not mention Supervisors request.
As a result it is more than likely that nearly +/ 250 Homestead Valley property owners (+/- 1,250 daily trips) living north, south and west of Melrose Ave. who use Melrose, N. Ferndale, Laverne or Montford to access Evergreen Ave. will coninue to remain uniformed about this stop sign proposal.
And Al Wunthow will not be able to convey neither their pro or con opinions.
If you have an opinion I suggest that you email it to Supervisor Kinsey at skinsey@co.marin.ca.us,
Charles
