bcc: Homestead Valley Concerned Citizens, Madrone Park Circle Group and Keep Evergreen Ave. 4 Evergreen
Tim,
In accord with CEQA requirements, I believe an Environmental Impact Study is required for Marin Horizon School's Evergreen Ave. sidewalk proposal which : Is inconsistent with the County Wide Plan, Tamalpais Area Community Plan; Will reduce the existing vehicle travel lane widths of Evergreen Ave. to less than required by existing ADTs; Will require the removal of existing street trees and landscaping, Will destroy the semi-rural character of the street mandated by TACP Goal #1 and: Is opposed by a vast majority of Homestead Valley residents. Given the facts it is factually apparent that this project will have a massive negative impact.
