And demand that a referendum in November 2010 decide if MEA is a good concept.

And objecting to enrolling you in MEA without your consent which is
an illegal invasion of your right to privacy.

Marin County Board of Supervisors created MEA in December 2008, without most voters knowlege or to buy "Green Energy" (clean/green energy) from non-existent “Green Energy Producers so MEA can ontroll the source of electricity (Wind/Solasr) for supply of electric power to PG&E for PG&E's transmission to its Marin County customers.

MEA will enroll the name of every Marin County Residence in MEA unless they “opt” out without the consent by Marin County Voters at the ballot box. It is not clear how you will know,when, where or how to "opt out".

MEA does not advise when and how you or I will be notified to “opt” out.

All customers of PG&E in Marin County and all Marin County Cities will see their PG&E monthly bill go ballistic in several years when MEA begins to buy "green energy".

Only several cities have opted out. Mill Valley is not one of them. See the description below of MEA.

"President Obama said when "clean/green energy" is used the price (your electrical bill) will go astronomical.

MEA has not provided any factual information, statistics, economic cost benefit studies feasibility supporting MEA’s intervention between industry electrical power suppliers and PG&E.

Why? Because this would reveal that MEA is not informed and deliberately pushing a “climate change” political initiative that itself is based on manipulated green house science.

We all know C02 can’t be good for our atmosphere.

Maybe hundreds of millions of dollars should be invested tax free in industrial research, development and implementation of scrubbing devices etc. to eliminate C02 emissions at combustible motor sources.

We did the work and we have gone to the moon and Mars.

I believe resident Obma for "green/clean energy" is notoriously not
cost competitive.

Indeed its cost is so non-competitive tax payers federal income
taxes are used to offset costs to incentive solar panel installation.

We got an $18,000 rebate for installation of our solar panels.

What are the benefits of Marin Clean Energy? (What are the factual benefits and costs to each Marin County resident and business consumer of electricity ???)

If enacted, Marin Clean Energy would reduce Marin's greenhouse gas emissions by initially providing twice as much renewable power (at astronomicl costs) as Marin receives now. (How much “green” power does Marin receives now) MEA provides no facts to support this dubious and overly optimistic pie-in –the sky claim) The clean energy supply developed by MCE is expected to result in greenhouse gas reductions of 15-20%.(How much C02 does Marin County generate now? How much is generated world wide? What is percentage of Marin’s percentage of the world’s emission? Etc.MEA provides no facts to support this dubious and overly optimistic pie-in –the sky claim) This would allow Marin to reach its greenhouse gas reduction target in the first full year of operation. (What is Marin’s green house gas reduction target Marin and what are the facts supporting it?) to reach its greenhouse gas reduction target in the first full year of operation. (What is the year when the first full the first full year MCE will be in full production? As the scale of “green power industrial production needed to supply Marin is now operationally non-existent)

MCE also promises to increase price stability over the long term by decreasing reliance on imported fossil fuels to generate power. MCE provides no facts to support this dubious and overly optimistic pie-in –the sky claim) Publicly-financed power costs less than private power. Using tax-exempt bonds and being free from shareholder profits and income taxes, the same power plant can be built by public agencies for 6-7% less cost than a private company. MEA provides no facts to support this dubious and overly optimistic pie-in –the sky claim and since when has any government agency operated anything on time and on budget. (Why give a should MCE be allowed to issue tax free bonds and a tax exempt status to MCE and not PG&E) MCE will also fuel small fuel small, locally based green businesses. In addition, MCE would enable local decision-making over what kinds of power Marin utilizes. ( Oh ??? Marin voters didn’t vote on MEA in December 2008 which was a sole decision of 5 supervisors without the approval of Marin voters. {Local decision making by a government agency without the consent and majority of the people appears to be fascistic on one extreme and communistic on the other. As for me I prefer our constitutional democratic system where the people tell the politicians what is best and they pay attention or else.)

Unlike investor-owned utilities (i.e., PG&E), local governments are accountable to their residents. (So what do Marin Supervisors know that the California’s Public Utilities Commission does not as they hold PG&E accountable. The decision-making process of the Marin Energy Authority would be accessible (but not accountable) to the community because it would be overseen by our local elected representatives. ( Local elected representatives (Supervisors with no: Professional education, experience or minimum knowledge of the industrial power industry overseeing MEA and MCE is laughable. Since 1932 every single publicly run agency has been overseen by government and all would be bankrupt now if they were private.)

How do I Sign Up? (More important you are directed not to enroll me in MEA in violation of my right to privacy)

Marin Clean Energy is currently being considered by the Marin Energy Authority. (Neither MCE or MEA have been approved at the ballot box…in a democracy the people consider, decide and tell their elected officials what to do) In a fascist or communistic society MEA and MCA consider, decide and tell the people what to do.) You are welcome to attend public meetings and to participate in the public dialogue about the MCE choice. For meeting information, click here or here.

Any resident who resides in a member jurisdiction of the Marin Energy Authority may choose to purchase their electricity from MCE or may opt out of the program and remain a customer of PG&E. If a resident does not reside in a member jurisdiction of MEA, they will not have the choice to purchase their electricity from MCE.

YOU ARE FORMALY REMINED AND AGAI LEGALY INFORMED THAT AS OF JANUARY 14, 2010 I OPTED OUT OF MEA WHICH SEEM TO ME TO BE NOTHING MORE OR LESS THSN A SCAM TO DEPRIVE ME OF MY DECISION TO DECIDE WHAT IS BEST FOR ME.
MEA SEEMS TO ME TO BE AN ALIEN CONCEPT UNLIKE ANY THING AMERICAN I KNOW OF.

Supervisor McGlashan you are respectfully requested as provided by the California’s Public Records act to provide for our and PG&E’ review:
1. Minutes of all public and non-public MEA’s/MCE’s meeting minutes;
2. Professional consultant studies, reports and correspondence related to and or supporting all MEA’s/MCE’s claims and promises on MEA/MCE web site related to MEA’s/MCE’s unsubstantiated claims and statements supporting the reasons MEA/MCE intervening between PG&E and its industrial electricity suppliers are best for Marin County residents.
4. Records of communications and correspondence to or from Marin County, California and federal Democratic party official, elected individual including Rep. Woolsey, Senators Feinstein and Boxer and President Obama and California and federal agencies related to formation and operation of MEA/MCE.
5. Records of communications and correspondence to or from all: Marin County individuals and producers, suppliers and operators of “renewable”/Green” energy; Marin County, State and Federal Democratic party officials, elected individuals including Rep. Woolsey, Senators Feinstein and Boxer and President Obama ; California and federal agencies related to formation and operation of MEA/MCE and all individuals or business expressing interest in support of and or investing in MEA/MCE .
